Hello! I’m Frances, an online English teacher dedicated to helping students across Europe become confident, fluent speakers. I believe language learning should be engaging, personal, and encouraging — a space where every student feels supported and inspired. With many years of experience teaching, I focus on practical communication skills, exam preparation (especially IELTS), and building confidence through real conversation.
Outside of teaching, I’m a lover of all things Disney and anything pink — from crafting lessons that spark curiosity to spending time with my little dog, Matilda. My goal is to make learning English not only effective, but enjoyable and full of heart. 🌸
I live in Durban, South Africa. I am TEFL/TESOL certified through Global TEFL UK with a 120 hour certificate. I have 14 years of experience working with children, 11 of which have been in a classroom setting and 3 have been working in the kids’ clubs onboard Disney Cruise Lines. I am currently trying to learn Italian and look forward to offering tailored lessons that are fun and interactive, creating a safe space to work on articulation, pronunciation and grammar.
The courses offered are personalized and are aimed at different types of students. Online English courses for professional interviews, online conversation courses for students, English course for the preparation of FIRST, ADVANCED, IELTS exams, TOEFL, etc.). All lessons are conducted on Zoom.
